James Dahringer visited Afghanistan in May of last year, joining an increasing number of visitors to a beautiful country which has been in conflict for most of the past 40 years. The Taliban takeover after the US withdrawal in 2021 has brought a tentative, but repressed peace to the country for the first time since the 1970’s, now there is an opportunity for the intrepid
traveler to visit.
